MODUS GEMS - SHIPPING POLICY (2026)
1. Processing & Handling Time

Ready-to-Ship Collection: Orders are processed and shipped within 2-3 business days.

Bespoke & Custom Orders: Custom designs typically require 6-10 weeks for production. You will receive a specific timeline during your design consultation.

Order Tracking: Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your tracking number.
2. Domestic Shipping (United States)

Complimentary Secure Shipping: We offer free fully insured shipping for all domestic orders over $1,000.

Carrier: We primarily use FedEx or UPS Overnight/2-Day to ensure the shortest transit time for your jewelry.

Required Signature: Due to the high value of our items, all deliveries REQUIRE AN ADULT SIGNATURE (21+). We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or freight forwarders.
3. International Shipping & Customs

Global Delivery: We ship to most international destinations via FedEx International Priority.

Duties & Taxes: For international orders, all customs duties, import taxes, and local fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. These fees are calculated at checkout or by your local customs office.

Customs Delays: MODUS GEMS is not responsible for any delays caused by the destination country's customs clearance processes.
4. Risk of Loss & Insurance

Full Insurance: All our shipments are fully insured until the point of delivery.

Risk Transfer: Ownership and risk of loss pass to the customer once the package is marked as "Delivered" with a confirmed signature by the carrier.

Theft Prevention: We are not responsible for packages stolen after a confirmed delivery. Please ensure a trusted adult is available to sign for your package.
5. Inspection Upon Receipt

We recommend inspecting your package for any signs of tampering before signing for it.
